I began my dog grooming journey in 2013 and have been running a small business from home since 2022, after working in busy salons.

Since my first visit to Crufts as a groomer I noticed the lack of attractive and flattering work wear, especially for the curvier girl.

I was eager to express that part of my creative personality at work... whilst also wanting to feel comfortable and not look like I'm wearing a tent!

I remember leaving feeling disappointed,
This was 2016, and on the train on the way home I said to my boss; we should definitely decorate or design some tunics for us to feel good at work...
This lit something in me and ever since I have strived to realise that dream.

I am driven to source the best material which is hair resistant and fast drying with a high quality finish, staying professional but funky.

I believe everyone is an individual SHAPE 
not a size,
One reason why I produce womens single sizes from 6 to 30, now with a longer 'Tall' option and  plans for a curve range.
All based around the size 16, from my own personal measurements.


This project has been my passion, alongside my grooming business for many years and I am excited to have my first seasonal themed tunics available as well as mens.
I have endless ideas for the future of Skyla's 🙂
